Core Vinyasa

Core Vinyasa is a deep movement flow class that pauses to deconstruct poses using Forrest Yoga alignment principles. Through a complete combination of abdominal, hip, back, shoulder and limb work this practice seeks to bring us fully present into our bodies while releasing the stress patterns caused by habitual movements as well as by mental and emotional patterns.

This becomes a practice in authenticity: the more we release these physical, mental and emotional ‘locked in habits’ the more we allow our true selves to wander our consciousness in profound freedom. Find integrity in your practice and start building congruence between your yoga and your personal life through this sometimes sweaty and grounded practice.

Bring your own mat, strap and block or any yoga prop you prefer to use.


Forrest Yoga

Forrest Yoga is renowned as an intensely physical and internally focused practice that emphasizes how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life. Founder Ana Forrest has taken the ancient practice of yoga and applied it to the needs of today’s people, addressing the stresses and ailments of modern society. The pillars of Forrest Yoga are breath, strength, integrity and spirit – through intense pose sequencing, taught in a safe learning environment, students are challenged to access their whole being and use these tools as a path to finding and then cleansing the emotional, mental and physical blocks that dictate and limit their lives. Forrest Yoga does not require strength of flexibility; it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly as you explore your edges and go deeper in search of physical and emotional healing.
